Andy Couturier

Andy Couturier is an author and writing instructor teaching in Santa Cruz, California. His work has been featured in Adbusters, The Japan Times, The Oakland Tribune, Creative Nonfiction Magazine, The North American Review, Fiber Arts Magazine, and many other publications. He’s also published three books, including The Abundance of Less: Lessons in Simple Living from Rural Japan, in which he profiles ten men and women who have chosen to live a different sort of life than most of us envision.
